In response to the Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival’s “The Best 10 Days of your Winter” campaign, Ocean King has launched a tactical direct marketing campaign for its range of canned Smoked Oysters. With a series of 10 different recipes being distributed during the 10 days of the Pick n Pay Oyster Festival, the campaign runs with the headline: “What about the other 355 days?”.
Says Alessandro Sacerdote, MD of Humboldt Trading, “We have launched this campaign in a bid to educate consumers on the many different ways to prepare and enjoy our canned smoked oysters. Also the opportunity to respond to the 10 Days campaign was too good to pass up on. You don’t only have to be somewhere like Knysna to enjoy oysters – you can enjoy these canned smoked oysters all year round.”
All the food prepared for this campaign’s photo shoot was donated to a local soup kitchen in Knysna.
