Ingredients
6 x Potatoes
250ml Milk
Knob of butter
Seasoning
2 tins Ocean King Portuguese Sardines in Tomato Sauce
Sliced tomatoes & cucumber to garnish
Method
Boil potatoes until soft. Drain and mash with milk, a knob of butter, salt & pepper.
Drain liquid from Portuguese Sardines and set aside. Heat Portuguese Sardines in a lightly oiled pan until warmed through.
Serve with sliced fresh tomatoes & cucumber. Chefs Tip! Simmer the reserved tomato sauce from the Portuguese Sardines in the sardine juices with fish stock, a dash of red wine salt & pepper. This rich, delicious gravy is the ideal accompaniment for the mashed potatoes.
